Shillary vs Trumpet (sort of)

So the AP (Associated Press) decided to break all rules of decorum yesterday (June 7 2016) and call the California Primary, et al for Shillary. Not to be outdone the rest of the media cried “Me too!” and followed their lead.

Reminds me of Election Day 2000 when the Faux “News” Corp. (or Crap) decided to call Florida a toss up and was able to steer the election the way the conservative corporate elite wanted it to go via the hand picked governor of Florida and his Attorney General.

So we have the two capitalist candidates basically set in stone for us, lest the hand of (whatever deity you may choose to believe in or not, insert it here) decides to intervene.

Shillary, who helped engineer the disastrous 1990's that saw the last chains of restraint on capitalism basically removed from law (Glass-Steagle) and saw the Democratic National Committee remove all doubt that they were pawn of the corporate elite by announcing their “third way” politics and heavily courting the 1% for campaign finances.

And then after receiving what they wanted proceeded to unleash a war on the poor that saw the incomes of the people on the bottom drop, saw public assistance basically gutted, and saw record numbers of African-Americans, Hispanics, and other marginalized people jailed for what used to be petty offenses with community service or weekends in jail.

Not to mention NAFTA. Yes, Clinton I saw the economic war on the poor and the middle classes expanded in ways that the Republicans only dreamed of doing. And the Clintons could get away with it because they were Democrats.

And now the DNC (it's also what an “undercover” abortion is called. Pronounce each letter individually. Yes, the Democratic Party is the place where progressive ideas and dreams go to die or be butchered. And they will tell you that you have a choice – let them kill the dream or idea or let the Republicans. Some choice.) wants the political left to support Shillary in her campaign for the White House.

No thank you.

I remember the 1990's. I voted against Bill. (I was a conservative Republican back then. No more. I got my head out of my rectal orifice and the crap all cleaned out.) And I'm voting against Shillary too.

I was not a fan of Bernie. I see his programs as a good starting point, not the end all goal. Capitalism can not be reformed in any way. It just needs to be overthrown completely and a new socio-economic system that benefits the 99% put in.

If Shillary follows Bill's economic plans, we are more screwed than we are under President (sic) Bush & Obama (or Obummer as I call him). Prepare to see the war on the poor and middle classes accelerated. And be prepared to see the Trans Pacific Partnership, TTIP, and other so called “free trade” agreements rammed through and down our throats. (The only thing that those agreements do is free mega corporations form the rule of the countries that they are in and any rule that the corporation claims infringes on their ability to make a profit.) And kiss $15 now good-bye. We'll be lucky to get $10.

And her social programs will be superficially progressive, if I might use that term. “Don't ask, don't tell” really did nothing for the LGBTQ people serving in the military. Don't count on much for the Voting Rights Act. And women will get screwed over more that they are now. (Bill might get jealous because he won't be the one doing it.)

Foreign policy? From Afghanistan, to Iraq, to Honduras, to Libya, to Syria. The trail of dead bodies and violated human rights tells us of a person that has no concern for democracy or human dignity. Expect more wars and violations of international law with no one willing to hold the US accountable because international finance is dependent upon US boots to impose and enforce their decisions upon those who would resist.

Lest I blow a gasket, right now I am going to avoid going off on Trumpet. He's a Grade A disaster too.

So the capitalists have given Americans their two hand picked candidates. Sanders will fight all the way to the convention, but unless he breaks away from the Democrats and runs as an independent (which he said he would not do), his ideas will basically die in the halls of power if Hillary is elected.

What should the working class do?

Vote socialist.

After analyzing the various parties that are running candidates (I think there are four: Socialist Party USA, Party of Socialism and Liberation, Workers World, and Socialist Workers Party. I think the other parties are endorsing either the Green Party or Bernie. Anyone know of any others?) I will make a recommendation as to whom specifically to support.

Basically, right now, we are up to our necks in BS.
Sad part is, we're on coffee break.
When it is over, we go back to doing headstands.
