Sounds of Socialism

Tomorrow at this time I am looking forward to being at the Adam Mickiewicz Library & Social Circle at a local Eugene V Debs celebration.

For those that do not know. Debs was an American Socialist that ran for President 4 times, the last time from  prison , and worked to advance the need sof the working class in the halls of power.

We rarely read about him in textbooks because the capitalist class owns the textbook publishers. And they control the people that write curriculum for the schools.  So, he is an unsung working class hero that is going to get his due in  Buffalo tomorrow.

The event will include: a fair that is open to progressive causes, a presentation on Buffalo Labor & socialist history, and a screening of Bernies Sanders' film on Eugene Debs.

The capitalist class likes to make socialism look like something that is foreign to the US instead of the organic movement that it was.

If you are a socialst, come on down, up, or over & rub shoulders with fellow Reds.
If you are curious, stop on in.   Learn about socialism from real socialists, not the caricatures of the media and textbooks.

And wear red. Because you can.

Be there.
